Dominic Green (He/Him)

Dominic Green is a native Nebraskan who grew up across the state and got to know much of Nebraska. His family moved to Omaha in 2004 when he was a junior in high school, and he later attended the University of Nebraska Omaha and graduated with his Bachelor’s in General Studies with an emphasis in Vocal Music and a secondary in Criminal Justice. Upon graduation, he started working part-time with Omaha Performing Arts and with the Omaha Symphony. Omaha Performing Arts (O-pa) brought him on staff full-time after his first year to help the organization create and run several of their marquee education programs and started their community engagement initiatives. While at O-pa, Dominic was also one of the founders of their Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committees, which supports the work they continue to do internally and externally.

After nearly 7 years at O-pa, he made the switch to Inclusive Communities 5 years ago to continue supporting and assisting the community and other organizations on their own journeys of diversity, inclusion, equality, and belonging. He has loved the work that he and the team at Inclusive Communities got to be a part of, and to be a part of positive change, big or small.

Dominic is active in his church and serves as the Director of Music and Worship at Maplewood United Methodist Church in Omaha, NE. He has been there for over 13 years. He still loves the arts and continues to perform and sing when time allows. Dominic also likes to be very active in the community and has served on many boards. He just stepped off the Heartland Pride Board as the Director of Entertainment after serving in that role for 5 years, and was previously on the Nebraska Hispanic Chamber of Commerce board, among others.

Outside of work and community projects, Dominic likes to spend time with his partner and their dog Kai-Lo. He also enjoys traveling, playing tennis, golfing, bowling, hanging out with friends, and seeing movies.
